there is some backstory behind this one. my family has a friend whom is the owner of a woodworking buisness that makes tabletop roleplaying products, both used for and based on. he is a part of our gaming group that meets every other week to do our tabletop roleplaying game at our place, which consists of my parents and him, and more recently also another player who comes with him. he gave this to me as a gift, and it is well made out of high quality wood.
i got this clock in london, when i was looking for souveneers. i had not yet gotton any souveneers in london, and i really wanted at least one memento of the occasion. we came accross a souveneer cart that had just what we wanted, and i decided to get this model of big ben that works as a clock and lights up when powered.
i chose this dagger to photograph for two reasons. one, daggers and shortswords have interested me for a while now, as they would be balanced well for me. secondly, this was the dagger i was least likely to hurt myself by handling.
for a while i have had an interest in world war I. at an event i went to, there was a demonstration of world war I firearms, using blanks. this is a casing from one of those blanks. also, those casings are the first bullet casings i have had.
